For just a moment, close your eyes and imagine what your bed would look like if you could create it. Would you have a statement headboard? Would it be timber or upholstered? Perhaps you’d like it upholstered in a pretty citron green or an edgy faux cowhide. And then there’s the base. But would you prefer a storage, floating or traditional base? Now that you have the image in your mind, check out the Snooze bedBUILDER® tool on your tablet or computer and create your dream bed in 5 easy steps!
1. THE HEADBOARD
With the Snooze bedBUILDER® tool, you start creating your dream bed with a headboard. You have a choice of headboards in a range of gorgeous designs including Featured (with a shelf), Curved, Buttoned, Ornate, Winged and Standard. You also decide if you’d like your headboard to be fabric or timber.
If you prefer, you can opt for a headboard only (without a base), which is available in 3 styles, 3 fabric types and 3 colours. The beautiful Venus bed in this bedroom features a Winged headboard upholstered in Warwick Keylargo Almond fabric.
2. THE STAIN OR FABRIC
The next exciting step to creating your dream bed is choosing the stain (if it’s a timber headboard) or fabric (if you’ve opted for an upholstered headboard). There are 6 timber stains available which are Blackbean, Charcoal, Ghost Gum, Latte, Natural Finish and White.
If you like the idea of an upholstered headboard, your next step is to choose the style of fabric from a fabulous choice including Linen Look, Textures, Patterns, Suede Look and Leather Look. Once you’ve decided on the style of fabric, you can browse through our fantastic collection of colours including Fanfare Petal, Kyneton Buttercup, Sunbeam Atoll, Chocolate, Steel and Mystere Seaspray. View our bedBUILDER® fabric video, to see some of the fabulous fabrics and colours.

3. THE BASE
The third step to creating your dream bed, is deciding on your preferred base. If you’d like extra bedroom storage, you might like a base with 1, 2 or 4 drawers. Or to really work your bed, you might choose a base with a gas lift option, which means the entire base is raised to reveal a fantastic storage area under the bed. Alternatively, you might like the idea of a floating base, which looks fantastic in a Contemporary style bedroom. You can also choose from a standard base, slimline base and full panel base. The stunning My Design bed shown here boasts a timber Featured headboard in Blackbean stain with a gas lift base.
4. THE LEGS
Depending on the base you’ve chosen, the next step is to decide on the legs you’d like for your dream bed. While timber bed frames are available with timber legs, you can choose between square metal legs or square timber legs with an upholstered bed frame. This bedroom features a stunning My Design timber bed with a Tapered headboard in Charcoal stain, a floating base and timber legs.
