Supply of Stock

Your purchase is very important to us and it is our intention to delivery your goods within the approximate time specified at point of sale. Occasionally due to Manufacturing or Transport problems, delays or supply issues may occur, but you can be assured that we will be trying to minimize any inconvenience should this happen.

Consumer Guarantees

Snooze guarantees to honour Consumers’ rights, effective 1st January 2011, in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law as set out in the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (http://www.consumerlaw.gov.au).

For purchases made prior to 1st January 2011, Snooze guarantees to the original purchaser to make good either by repair or replacement any defect caused by substandard materials or workmanship covered by the manufacturers guarantee or warranty as set out in the Trade Practices Act 1974. This is effective from the purchase date and on presentation of original documentation i.e. receipts or tax invoice. This guarantee or warranty is provided as such defect is not the result of normal wear and tear, abuse, commercial use or is the natural characteristic of the material used. Furniture and bedding must be cared for in accordance with the care instructions provided. Guarantee or warranty is not transferrable.

 

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Purchasers are not entitled to receive a remedy of a refund or a replacement if they have simply changed their mind unless there is prior written approval from the Snooze Store Manager. Purchasers have the right to a remedy or to cancel an agreement if Snooze does not meet the Consumer Guarantees. For cancellation of an agreement, an appropriate fee, to the extent of reasonable costs incurred by Snooze, may be applicable.

Payments

Any balance owing must be paid either before or on delivery of goods as specified by Snooze staff.

Layby

Maximum Layby term is 3 months with regular payments every two weeks for the time that the balance is outstanding. If layby payments are not made as set out in this policy a layby may be cancelled and may incur cancellation fees to the extent of reasonable costs incurred by Snooze.

Customers are entitled to cancel a lay-by agreement at any time prior to completion of the agreement. Cancellation of layby must be requested in writing and may incur termination fees to the extent of reasonable costs incurred by Snooze.

Made to Order Stock

Items which are made to individual customer specifications require a 33% deposit.

Complaint Process

In the first instance approach the Snooze store directly, in person or over the phone and explain the problem with the item or service.
Keep notes of your contact with the store, such as the:
• name of the person you spoke to
• date of your meeting or phone call
• content of your discussion.

Please note that mattress and bed frame prices are based on Queen size beds except where marked as Single Beds, King Size Single Beds, Extra Large Single Beds or Kids Beds. Prices may vary from store to store and regional prices may apply.

This catalogue must be read subject to these terms and conditions. We aim to ensure information is correct, sometimes errors occur. While stocks last. Assembly required. Not all products available in all stores but can be ordered. Due to popularity or interruption of supply, some items may be unavailable or out of stock. Furniture is not available at Fortitude Valley. Manchester, mattresses, linen or accessories are not included in prices. ‘Linen, accessories and props are for display purposes only and may not be available in store.’ Prices indicated include the stated savings.
