What's the best time for a quick powernap?
Pretty much any time you feel like it, just as long as it doesn't interfere with your sleep at night. The best time is mid-afternoon when our circadian rhythms tend to leave us a little drowsy. A short nap between 1 and 4pm is less likely to cause sleeping problems later that evening.
How long is long enough for a powernap ?
Fifteen to twenty minutes is enough. Sleeping any longer than thirty minutes will put you in a deep sleep. It's best to avoid napping close to your usual bed time.
Is there any easy way to tell if I am getting enough sleep?
If you are getting enough sleep you shouldn't need an alarm clock to wake you up.
Does working a computer have any effect on my ability to sleep?
There are many sleep related problems, including insomnia and fatigue. You should try to cease using a computer 1 hour before your usual bed-time.
