Snooze has taken out two awards at the prestigious Australian Catalogue Awards – the Letterbox Power category for furniture, bedding and/or manchester for distribution over 1.5 million and was the overall winner for the Catalogue of the Year – for its latest Snooze brand book.
Distributed to more than three million homes around the country, the brand book has been paramount to enhancing the new positioning of the company, which recently changed its name from Capt’n Snooze to Snooze in addition to a fresh new look.
Marketing Manager for Snooze, Drew Warren-Smith, said Snooze is delighted to take home two awards in what has become an increasingly competitive environment.
“We are very proud of what we, in conjunction with our advertising agency The Foundry, have produced and feel that it is a true reflection of what Snooze has to offer – comfortable and stylish bedding and lifestyle products that cater for all budgets,” Mr Warren-Smith said.
“Our new positioning for Snooze is perfectly illustrated in our catalogue, which reaches people in their homes and fosters an emotional connection. We’re encouraging customers to see their bedroom as a sanctuary, a luxury and an extension of their personality,” he said.
In addition to the awards, Snooze has won a return business class airfare to London, accommodation at the Radisson Edwardian and entry to the European Catalogue Awards in 2008.
