TEMPRAKON® sleep products are made of the special OUTLAST® material which is derived from the material used by NASA in their space suits.
During their space walks, astronauts are exposed to extreme temperature variations with differences of up to 80 degrees Celsius. Their suits must be able to allow for such variations and adjust to them. In the same way, TEMPRAKON® sleep products with the OUTLAST® material help ἀne-tune temperature variations during sleep.
The secret is millions of small microcapsules filled with a special type of wax with a special ability to absorb and release heat. The special material combined with the finest, best down filling ensures a new, revolutionary sleeping comfort adapting exactly to your temperature when you sleep.

Care Info

  • In the morning when you get up, a little humidity remains in the quilt. You should therefore allow it to air for a bit before putting the bed-spread on or packing it away.
  • Give the quilt regular airings, but do not vacuum or beat it. Spot-cleaning is best done with a firmly wrung sponge.
  • Wash the quilt on its own in a washing machine with a capacity of at least 5 and preferably 7 kg.
  • Use a commercially available down or wool detergent – must be free from enzymes. Use half as much detergent as for a normal wash.
  • Use a 60°C delicates programme or similar with a high water level and reduced drum rotation.
  • Spin the quilt after washing.
  • Choose the gentlest spin cycle.
  • The quilt must only be dried in a tumble dryer. The temperature should be around 60-80°C. It is a good idea to put a couple of tennis balls in the dryer with the quilt. They will keep the filling moving and this way ensure more efἀcient drying.
  • Drying takes at least 2-3 hours, but this will depend on the dryer. Most importantly: REMEMBER that the quilt must be completely dry, including the fine down inside.
