Snooze retailers were commended for their outstanding service and sales success, with Snooze Artarmon (NSW) taking out the top award for ‘Retailer of the Year’, closely followed by Snooze stores at Jindalee (QLD), Auburn (NSW), Rockhampton (QLD), and O’Connor (WA), who were all recognised with an ‘Excellence in Retailing’ award.
‘Store Manager of the Year’ went to Lorraine Jones of Snooze Port Macquarie after she excelled in all aspects of the judging criteria having initiated strong growth for the Snooze business; ‘Salesperson of the Year’ went to Scott Green from Snooze Moorabbin.
Snooze Managing Director Simon Beaty said the evening was a great success with the venue playing host to a large audience of franchise partners and suppliers.
Mr Beaty commented, “The night is always great opportunity to highlight accomplishments across the board, to recognise the tremendous amount of work that goes into all aspects of the Snooze brand. It’s important to take time to acknowledge outstanding achievements, to recognise and applaud our collective success and share our learning’s to keep moving forward”.
The Supplier Furniture category, judged on innovation and quality, saw Modular Furniture take home the ‘Best New Product’ award for furniture for their My Design range of beds, also claiming ‘Product of the Year’ in the same category.
In the mattress category, ‘Best New Product’ was awarded to the Fuse Climatex from Sleepmaker, with ‘Product of the Year’ in the mattress category awarded to the Series 400 from Sleep to Live.
Sealy’s innovative products and excellent supplier service saw it recognised as Snooze’s ‘Supplier of the Year’, a huge an achievement in a competitive space which was judged on the overall contribution to the Snooze business.
